Learn about Henry’s Second Puberty
Boy Soprano is a limited series that follows a trans actor’s first year on testosterone in real time. The series centers around trans actor and singer, Henry, as he navigates his “second puberty” and, in particular, his changing voice. Using Henry’s background in sketch comedy and pulling inspiration from the media that shaped him as he was growing up, each half-hour episode is a combination of sketch comedy, semi-autobiographical scripted narrative, animation, musical theatre, and documentary footage. Think Sesame Street, but with less counting and more segments about body odor.
